RoLo/Community Chest help for The Oaklands

after1webThe Oaklands Centre on Oakfields Lane in Warsop received £500 of funding in the last round of RoLo/Community Chest funding. The Centre has used the money to start a project to improve the entrance at the centre.

The Oaklands Complex is a not-for-profit social enterprise and registered charity that provides a home and respite care for adults with learning disabilities, specialising in providing care for adults with a learning disability suffering from dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory loss and similar disorders.

New equipment for 2nd Warsop Scout Group

In the spring 2016, the 2nd Warsop Scout Group was awarded £380 worth of RoLo Community Chest funding. The group used the funding to buy the equipment they need to correctly store food on camping trips. They also purchased a gas bottle, hose and fixtures, as well as pump flasks to make sure that hot drinks are always readily available for the group.
