As part of the new ‘Having Things to Do‘ theme, Big Warsop has agreed to fund a series of summer activities for young people during August.
The free activities will be for 11 to 17 year-olds and will take place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in August. Sessions on offer include BMX biking, various arts and crafts activities, sports, body zorbing, carting, performance arts, lazer tag, physical theatre, mountain biking and drop-in sessions.
The timetable of summer activities will be delivered by a range of youth projects working in the Big Warsop area, including Warsop Youth Club, Go Extreme, Enthusiasm, Right Hook Physical Theatre and Caroline Hughes, who will deliver the arts and crafts sessions.
The majority of sessions will take place at the Community Hub off Wood Street, although the BMX and mountain biking sessions will be held outdoors at Carr Lane Park. To find out the dates and times of each session, download and print the full list of activities here.
We may be only a few days away from the schools breaking for summer, but with this fabulous list of activities on offer for young people there will be no need for anyone to be bored in Warsop this summer.
