Community Mini Bus available for bookings

Meden School took delivery of the Community Mini Bus in April 2016, supported by a £35,000 investment from Big Warsop. Between 22 April 2016 and 26 May 2017, they received 57 separate bookings for the mini bus from groups and organisations within the local community.

The users have included other schools, Scout groups, sports clubs, the Rotary and the Air Cadets. You can see the number of bookings by each organisation in the chart below, or download a PDF copy here.


The Community Mini Bus provides transport for local community groups to allow them to participate in activities that may otherwise not happen due to cost or an inability for the groups to be able to reach an event. As well as community bookings, the bus has and continues to be used regularly by Meden School, which uses if for weekly sporting events, theatre visits and educational events.
