The latest round of funding from the Big Warsop Community Chest, in partnership with Rotary Club Warsop, Shirebrook & District is accepting applications until 30 September. Local groups within the Warsop Parish can apply for up to £500 to help support their activities.
Warsop Youth Club working in partnership with Caroline Hughes, Go Extreme, Enthusiasm, Right Hook and the lottery funded Meden Sports Project, has delivered a fun-packed summer of activities for young people in Warsop. The 2016 programme was delivered throughout August and was part-funded by Big Warsop and The Sir John Eastwood Foundation.
As part of the new ‘Having Things to Do‘ theme, Big Warsop has agreed to fund a series of summer activities for young people during August.
The free activities will be for 11 to 17 year-olds and will take place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in August. Sessions on offer include BMX biking, various arts and crafts activities, sports, body zorbing, carting, performance arts, lazer tag, physical theatre, mountain biking and drop-in sessions.
