Creative empowerment in Warsop

Dorothy mosaic birdBig Warsop is supporting Creative Warsop, a project aimed at empowering people in Warsop by extending the range and reach of creative learning opportunities across the generations.

Creative taster sessions are being held locally so that local residents of all ages can have a go at creative arts and pastimes in an informal, social and fun environment.

The lead tutor for the sessions is Caroline Hughes, who said: “I’m very enthusiastic about delivering this project. The inspiration for delivering the sessions came through teaching a mosaic group in Warsop. I noticed how much the people in that group benefited from learning and working together and sharing skills.”
