Help us to tell the Big Warsop story

Big Warsop is looking for a Communications Worker to work closely with the Big Warsop Chair, Plan Co ordinator, and identified local partners and organisations to promote and report on Big Local activities in Warsop. The post is expected to require 4 hours work each week and the hourly rate will be negotiable, depending on experience.

The post holder will need to work flexibly and will be responsible for key communication tasks such as: writing press releases and news stories for the Big Warsop blog; managing Big Warsop’s social media posts; maintaining the website using WordPress; designing promotional posters; and distributing regular updates using MailChimp.

We need someone who can confidently put together news updates and blog posts, so previous copywriting and proofreading experience would be useful. You will also need to know (or be willing to learn) how to maintain a website using WordPress. An understanding of design principles and print management is also desirable.
